In addition to our Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Construction Management, we expanded our Real Estate business to be uniquely qualified to oversee Client’s moves to more manageable and accessible housing.
Certified Senior Housing Professionals (CSHPs) are specialists who know that in order to best serve the distinct late-in-life transition needs of senior adults, they need to surround themselves with a resource team of trusted professionals.
Among the most respected real estate professionals in our individual markets, CSHPs have completed extensive prerequisite coursework and the in-depth review necessary to achieve the Certified Senior Housing Professional (CSHP) designation.
As such, we are far more equipped than general real estate agents and are committed to serving as professional partners throughout the entire consultative process surrounding a late-in-life move.
The CAPS Designation was developed by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in partnership with American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) and is administered by NAHB.
Professionals who have earned the CAPS designation are experts in designing and building aesthetically-enriching, barrier-free living environments. We have been trained in the unique needs of the older adult population, and apply strategies and techniques to provide comprehensive and practical home modification solutions.
CAPS graduates also pledge to uphold a professional code of ethics, and are required to take continuing education to maintain their designation.
The SRES designation is awarded only to REALTORS who have additional education on how to help Seniors and their families with later-in-life real estate transactions.
We also draw upon the expertise of a network of senior specialists, such as estate planners, CPAs, and elder law attorneys, and are familiar with local community resources and services.
Our mission is to help seniors and their families navigate the maze of financial, legal and emotional issues that accompany the sale of a home.
